Snowkiting

snowkiteFor anyone looking to get into snowkiting the best option is to come along for a half or full day power kite course to learn the flying skills and about the different kite systems.

For a lot of the year it is also not possible to snowkite in Britain, so kitesurfing and kite landboarding or buggying can be useful for cross training as a lot of skills transfer between all kitesports.

It is also a good idea to become proficient at downhill skiing or boarding, whichever you prefer.  If you are kiting up a mountain and the wind dies you will need to ride back down again safely, and having board or ski skills will help when it comes to putting a kite with the board or skis.
