Powerkite Taster

Who the course is for

The Powerkite taster session is a 2 hour session designed to give people the opportunity to have a go at flying powerkites on both the bar and handle control systems.

The emphasis is on time flying and having fun with the kites.  The course is suitable for anyone who would like to just have a go at powerkiting rather than commit to the full training courses.

What the course covers

• Introduction to flying powerkites using the bar control system
• Introduction to flying powerkites using the handle control system
• Basic safety information regarding using both the control systems

What's included in the price

• 2 hours of tuition with IKO certified instructors
• Use of all equipment

Dates and Price

Dates for October 2011: 20th, 21st, 22nd, 23rd

If you are bringing a group of between 2 and 12 you may also contact us to arrange a date to suit yourselves.

We can also run the powerkite taster session as individual tuition, this is £40 per hour on weekdays and £45 per hour at weekends.

Powerkite tasters run all year round, weather permitting.

What you need to bring

• Sturdy footwear with good grip on the soles
• Wear clothing appropriate to the weather
• Gloves and hat may be needed any time of year
• Waterproofs are advised
• Snacks and a drink if you require
• Sunglasses and sunscreen can also be needed at any time of year, especially for those sensitive to the sun
