Snowkite Masters 2012
Big congratulations to Synergy Kitesports Maggie Davies for coming 4th Place in the women’s snowkite freestyle at the Snowkitemasters in France earlier this month. Maggie was competing against some of the world’s best female snowkiters and finished 4th place despite a big wipe out in her 2nd heat. She was also awarded the women's Fair Play medal for getting back up and finishing the heat.
Synergy Kitesports made the trip to the 9 day event held at the Col du Lautaret in France along with Paul and Derek Thomson.
For both Paul and Derek this was their first time snowkiting and a great opportunity to see the world’s best snowkiters in action, as well as get to grips with the basics of snowkiting themselves.
Conditions for the week were excellent with a fresh dump of powder the evening before we arrived and good wind every day. Added to that the event organisers Regis and Warek had laid on food and DJ’s at the event site every day as well as evening entertainment and a party each evening.
