| Sutherland and Caithness |
Page 1 of 3 There is a lot more of Scotland to see north of Inverness, and if you like super quiet kiting spots, plenty of wildlife, great scenery and very long summer days then the counties of Sutherland and Caithness could be just your thing. For kitesurfers the water temperature is about the same as in Aberdeen but the wind can be colder, especially if it is a north wind, so bring your winter gear just in case. In summer you can be out kiting from about 4am to gone 11pm, so bring plenty of energy too. In the unlikely event that there is no wind, or maybe when you're just all kited out and the sun still hasn't set, go for an explore of this awesome part of Scotland. This is another work in progress, with more intel to be added...... |
