| Inflatable Kites |
|
These kites are also known as LEIs - Leading Edge Inflatables Having inflated parts means the kites float when crashed onto the water; which will happen at some point, if you're not crashing you're not learning! Inflatable kites are generally used for kitesurfing. Some people do use LEIs for landboarding and snowkiting, however they are not as durable as foil kites if crashed regularly on land. Modern LEI's use a de-power bar system allowing the rider to adjust the angle of the kite while flying. |
