Kite Landboarding PDF
LandboardingLandboarding is a progression from powerkiting which uses the power of the kite to propel you along on four wheels. Once you have mastered the basics you can develop the skills needed to cruise along beaches or perform big air freestyle tricks.

 

 

 

Pre-requisites: Half day powerkite course or similar experience as a minimum

HALF DAY (3 hour) KITE LANDBOARD COURSE

  • Site risk assessment for kite landboarding
  • Independent kite set up and pre-flight checks
  • Recap of intermediate flying skills
  • Introduction to the board and pre-ride checks
  • Edge control and board start theory
  • Board starts, first rides and stopping under control
  • Maintaining the ride
  • Change of direction
  • Point to point riding

PRICE-

Group £50 Per Person

Individual £35 Per Hour

FULL DAY (6 hour) KITE LANDBOARD COURSE - All of the above plus:

  • Riding upwind and downwind
  • Slide turns
  • Riding switch
  • Jumping
  • Use of kite harness

NOTE: Group Sizes are a minimum of 2 people and a maximum of 4 people per instructor

Bring along: Sturdy footwear with good grip on the soles, clothing appropriate to the weather. Remember gloves and hat may be needed any time of year. Waterproofs are advised. Snacks and a drink if you require.
